This car is really an inspirational source for me. It should be relevant too, it’s a Nissan…Japan is in the Pacific…don’t you just love loopholes? Either way, this is an awesome machine. Definitely going to be what I build my coupe after…when I get my coupe that is…

I’ve always had a thing for cars that look intense while looking used to hell and back. The scars they hold tell a thousand stories, it always makes a car more interesting. While browsing on 7Tune.com I ran into this beat up Silvia S13. His car is powered by an SR20DET with a Trust TD06 20G Turbo. He’s got an arsenal of rims he uses including, 6 R33 GT-R 17×9″ Rims with a +30 Offset. Also in his arsenal are 6 Work VsKF with different offsets. When he gets too fast, he uses slotted stock S13 Rotors/calipers and pads in the rear and R33 Skyline GTS25t breaks in the front. The body panels are from Vertex and topped with a D-Max roof and Trunk spoiler. All this is dropped on Tein HE Coilovers.

I figured this wouldn’t exactly be cheating since I am still part of NissanPacific, haha.  Here’s a direct rip from my site. Thanks for supporting!

Yezzir they came in today! Stoked! Big thanks for Chris at StudioRhoad for vectoring these for me and another big thanks to Timm at VoodooGarage for cutting them. Without these two fellows these stickers would still be chilling in my hard-drive. They made this possible!

It would appear there is a big possibility Nomuken has decided to switch from his Nissan ER34 to a newer GTR. There has been talk of him doing so quite a bit over the past few months, mainly due to Blitz’s release of their tuned GTR back in early 2009. The car features a manual gearbox, instead of the paddle-shifters and has been converted to RWD. It’s natural to convert cars to RWD, many drivers have done so (Team Orange’s Subaru Cars, Foust’s Scion etc) but this one just feels funny. This car is also bigger than the R34, so it will definitely be one of the biggest cars on the track if Nomuken follows through with this.

We’ll know for sure in March when D1GP hits Ebisu Circuit.

Just a cool little video I found on one of the forums I frequent. Would you go this far to keep your aero together? I think after this second puzzle piece, I’d say screw it and roll without one.

Hey all, it’s Darrick. I was doing a little browsing around Vimeo the other day since I haven’t been on there in awhile and I found this! There’s not really anything to say about it other than what the video artist says about it, take a look.

“Shot entirely with the new GoPro HD cameras, this is a highlight reel of the 2009 Formula Drift season finale at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, California. Following Team Falken Tire’s drivers Tyler Mcquarrie, Daijiro Yoshihara and Darren McNamara and featuring music from Justice and John Murphy. This video explores what it’s like from the drivers point of view and even a bugs perspective on the side of the car at 90mph, inches away from the wall.” – Patrick Barrett

Speed Festival came around once again and this year Drift Circuit came with it. Drift Circuit has been attending these events for the past couple years and this year I was lucky enough to have Media Access. Today was Media day and while all the other Media were there for everything else, I was the only one there solely for the drifters.Throughout their runs today there were only a few casualties: Cody Parkhouse’s 240SX caught on fire during one of the morning runs putting him out for the rest of the weekend. At the end of the day, Luke’s car suffered a blown tire putting him out for the rest of the day. Other injuries were oil leaks and running out of fuel.
