I’ve always had a thing for cars that look intense while looking used to hell and back. The scars they hold tell a thousand stories, it always makes a car more interesting. While browsing on 7Tune.com I ran into this beat up Silvia S13. His car is powered by an SR20DET with a Trust TD06 20G Turbo. He’s got an arsenal of rims he uses including, 6 R33 GT-R 17×9″ Rims with a +30 Offset. Also in his arsenal are 6 Work VsKF with different offsets. When he gets too fast, he uses slotted stock S13 Rotors/calipers and pads in the rear and R33 Skyline GTS25t breaks in the front. The body panels are from Vertex and topped with a D-Max roof and Trunk spoiler. All this is dropped on Tein HE Coilovers.

Formula D Irwandale 2009 Rd 7 “Judgement Day” from Abbitt Wilkerson on Vimeo.

Abbitt Wilkerson, Yoshi Shindo, and Matt Galantoumini hit Irwindale CA for Formula Drift’s final round, Judgement Day. Althought I wasn’t able to make it, good friends from the northwest hit i5 and rocked L.A. Wilkerson cut together a short, in my opinion one of his best cuts. The season is already over for most, a few will be at ProAm Nationals. Get ready for the rainy season, it’s time for another year of the northwests finest builds. Watch out for 2010!

This morning Speedhunters.com released the official trailer for Drift Documentary: We Are Drift. Over the summer I’ve been chatting with the director, Luke Huxham. Drift Documentary is nothing but extraordinary, with a primary focus around the community and the individuals that bring it together.

Our filming project is always on the hunt for potential sponsors / endorsements to help our documentary grow even larger then it will be, if your interested or know anyone who would be drop us a line.

In the last month or so I’ve lost contact with a few good individuals here in the northwest. Last week I featured Abbitt Wilkerson’s Round 3 video, and now I just found Justin’s Round 4. I have to give him props for making his way up from Oregon to shoot this video.

Justin Shreeve Films presents Evergreen Drift Round 4. The final round saw a lot of upsets as some drivers weren’t able to attend and others were plagued with car troubles. Overall, it was an exciting day, making for lots of good footage.

Everytime I see video of our local drivers in Pacific Northwest, I keep thinking why don’t we have these guys performing at a professional level? Our talent pool is a hidden pocket tucked away in the woods here in the northwest. Maybe it has to do with how many events we have, or our awesome back roads?

So the autocross season is almost over at the Bremerton Motorsports Park. There will be 2 more until the season’s over! Anyways here’s some event coverage of Auto-X #7!

The day started off looking pretty gloomy. it was actually just starting to rain so me(terrell, red 240) and fellow NP admin Jamie(rps13, chapagne 240) were starting to get excited. since we have open diffs the only time we can pretend to drift is when it’s wet.  sadly the road dried up just as we finished up the first of our 5 runs.

There were alot of different cars there this time. there’s always this blue toyota tundra at the track though. the funny thing is that he spanks about half of the car’s times that are there!

Mini’s and this VW were 3 wheeling all day long! there’s also a foxbody ford mustang that’s at every event. when coming out of a corner the thing has so much torque that the front wheels start lifting. haha i’ll try to get a shot of it next time

Ouch! fixing that one’s gonna suck!

This kid also decided to bring his parent’s Porsche for a day at the track. no joke!

Even the almighty GTR made an appearance. however you could tell that the skill was more in the car and not the driver. since he left all his assists on while driving.

i also ended up on the recieving end of  most practical jokes that day:(. i leave for 5 minutes to go register and i get tape all over my car plus roxy, nos, and exedy decals all over my car. haha people walknig by got a laugh out of it

overall it was an awesome event! it did end up raining pretty good when we got to do our fun runs at the end of the day. the sad part is nobody got footage of it:( so hopefully next time. i’ll post some video a bit later when it’s all finished being edited. if you want to see more pics from the event add Jamie’s facebook and head over to the auto-x album!
