Hey guys, thought I’d let you know Luke Huxham from Hashiriya Exports just launched WeAreDrift.com and he asked me to help promote the production throughout the year. He’s uploading the full uncompressed video to my server for promotional uses. I thought I’d share the video with the NWN community.

We will be promoting the video through Facebook and Twitter, a new concept in for 2009. Fan us up on Facebook!

    CellBlock D 14 – December 14, 2008

Wow, 2 full years of running drifting events. It has gone by fast. I am proud to announce our anniversary event. We started CellBlock D on a rainy cold day, yet, it has proven to be a great place to have fun and learn something new on a track. We hope that it is dry and not frozen cold, but that is not in my power to predict. So let’s make the best of it. Come drift and support our organization that takes drifting and brings it to the greater Vancouver area. See you guys there. Get ready to burn your tires on Sunday Dec 14th, 2008, from 10 – 4pm.

This is a Rain or Shine event, hopefully it is dry, as there is more smoke.

Driver fee is $55.00, Pit Passes are $10.00, Spectating is $5.00.

Drivers must be at tech by 8:15am, and the drivers meeting at 9:30am, otherwise they do not drive. No More Exceptions. Preregistration and a deposit are required, payment can be made via the PayPal link on completing the registration. We will not accept any drivers at the door, and registration closes 1 week before the event. The deposit is $30.00, and is not refundable for any reason. We have had too many problems with the way it had worked before. If you can not paypal the fee, please contact me to arrange payment. The remainder of the fee will be paid at the door. Your driver fee will include 1 pit pass.

With this event we are having vendors and sponsor booths available in the pits. If you are wanting to setup a booth, contact us for details. Spread the word.

CellBlock D is 100% based on the help of others. If you can help out at the track, whether it is flagging or crowd control, be at the track for the tech time. We will assign a place for you to help. Thanks.

What do car enthusiast do when they want to meet in a large number and show the community they can do something good for the kids?

Show up at the 272nd Park & Ride on December 13th @ 1:30 PM. It’s on I-5 just north of Federal Way, WA… EXIT 147. Bring an unwrapped NEW toy with you to donate to Toys for Tots. Once the group has assembled we’ll drive over to Pacific Raceways for a meet and greet as one large group. Car Clubs of the Pacific Northwest… Unite to benefit the less fortunate children in the area.

Last year we had more than 400 cars attend and this year is going to even bigger. With the facilities at Pacific Raceways opened up to us, we’ll be able to assemble and enjoy a meet and great without bothering shoppers (like last year).

Stay tuned to this website for more details on this years NWToyRun and view pictures and chat with those who attended years prior. We will be opening up a forum in the coming days to help with the organization.

Anyone who has photo’s from previous years… contact sephlar@nwtoyrun.com. We lost anything that was on the site in years prior so if you have the images and can round them up, we’d like to gather as many as we can.

This is going to be a BIG ONE. I want to see everybody there. I mean everybody. This is for the CHILDREN that are less fortunate. I don’t care what you bring, a hot wheel or a stuffed animal. Just an unopened toy. This will show the community that all the cars are not street racing all the time. This will be an open forum event. YOU NEED TO BE AT THIS ONE! LETS MAKE SOME KIDS HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS!

SATURDAY DEC.13th 1:30pm AT 272ND PARK N RIDE. EXIT 147. GONNA DRIVE OVER TO PACIFIC RACEWAYS. DROP OFF TOYS AND ENJOY THE PEOPLE AND CARS.
